World Class Bartender of The Year Competition Uses Drinkmate To Make the Best Sparkling Cocktail

The World Class Bartender of the Year Competition is the world’s biggest and most respected bartending competition, sponsored by Diageo. It is an annual competition entered by thousands of bartenders across the globe, culminating in a Global Final event and experience. The World Class Competition is not only where the best bartender in the world is crowned, but also where the latest trends are showcased by industry leaders, where the trade’s biggest issues are unpacked by those actively championing them, and where first-hand brand and partner innovations are showcased that will shape and define future drinks experiences.

Drinkmate’s carbonation system was selected to be used in the Johnnie Walker Challenge by champion bartenders from each country. Under the theme of ‘Hidden City Highballs’, contestants had to create a tasty Johnnie Walker highball that reflects the culture and flavors of their home city.
